Hello world!
This is the website of Cosmic Anxiety, a Berlin-based band consisting of Eli and Gasher. In a time in which everyone seems to be anxious and tired of social media (and the world as a whole), this website is an homage to personal websites, maybe bringing a bit of the optimism of the old web back into the present. Please excuse any malfunctions, this website is basically held together by duct tape and good hopes. -c
Mr. TV
Finally we tried to perform one of Gasher’s classic songs while our rehearsal on the 30th of December 2025, the 10 year old “Mr. TV”. We hope it is okay to listen to Gasher’s voice this time. Tomorrow will the next magic happen! 💜✨💚 Am Ende von unserer Probe am 30.12.2025 performten wir noch Gashers 10 Jahre alten Song “Mr. TV”. We don’t have any plans, but we keep on making music. On December 30, 2025, we improvised this atmosphere with the Deluge and the Hydrasynth. We had eaten a donut before. Thanks for your support! 💜✨💚 Wir haben uns nichts vorgenommen, sondern werden einfach weiter Musik machen. Am 30.12.2025 haben wir diese Atmosphäre mit der Deluge und dem Hydrasynth improvisiert. The crack in our stomach
We apparently managed to get food poisoning completely independently of each other in December, just five days apart from each other. The crack in our stomach. Yesterday, Eli stepped into the vocal booth and we recorded vocals. The crack in my heart. 💜✨💚 Wir haben es anscheinend geschafft, uns im Dezember vollkommen unabhängig voneinander im Abstand von 5 Tagen Lebensmittelvergiftungen einzufangen. The Crack in our stomach. Gestern stepte Eli in die Vocal Booth und wir nahmen Gesang auf. The Crack in my Heart.
The Crack in My Heart
Before the third rehearsal, Gasher had created an instrumental using the Deluge synth. A few days before the rehearsal, Gasher sent this instrumental to Eli, who was immediately inspired to write lyrics to accompany it. During the rehearsal, the two came together to form this first demo. Again, it’s likely that a more polished version will be released at some point. Gasher hatte vor der dritten Probe ein Instrumental mit der Synthstrom Deluge gebaut. Dieses Instrumental schickte Gasher ein paar Tage vor der Probe Eli. Eli fühlte sich sofort inspiriert, einen Text zum Instrumental zu schreiben. Bei der Probe kam beides zusammen zu dieser ersten Demo. We recorded this track at our first meeting after trying it two times. It was the first track Cosmic Anxiety ever recorded. We know about the clipping. Sorry. This is a demo. Maybe there will be a more sophisticated version once. Wir haben den Track bei unserem ersten Treffen aufgenommen, nachdem wir ihn zwei Mal probiert hatten. Es war der erste Track, den Cosmic Anxiety je aufgenommen hat. Uns ist das Clipping bewusst. Entschuldigung. Das ist eine Demo. Vielleicht gibt es irgendwann mal eine ausgefeiltere Version.
